Surgical Approaches
- Robotic or VATS thymectomy for suitable thymic tumors.
- Mediastinal mass biopsy or complete resection after imaging review.
- Chest wall resection with reconstruction when needed.
- Open surgery for large, invasive or complex tumors when safer.
Multidisciplinary Care
Thoracic tumors often require coordination with pulmonology, radiology, anesthesia, medical oncology and radiation oncology. The plan depends on tumor type, location, resectability and overall fitness.
